November 10, 2015 - It is Fall Break, and so nice to have time to catch up on some things I've been wanting to do - like updating this blog!  :)  Having a great start to this school year, teaching Gr.5/6 again.  4 weeks ago, we were fortunate to have a student teacher (Kendra Podoborozny) join our class, and she will be with us until Christmas.  We are loving having her with us - she is learning lots from us, and we are learning lots from her too!  Enjoy your Fall Break everyone!  :)

My first blog post!  I am Tracy Deal, and I'm loving teaching Gr.5/6 this year!  It is so great to be part of such a "family-like atmosphere" at St. Martin's School, with awesome staff and students.  I have been part of this "family" in various different roles over the years - resource room teacher, student services facilitator, and (most recently) Grade 5 and/or 6 teacher - and have loved every one.  Our staff and administration are very open to change and trying new things, which means great things are always happening at St. Martin's school - a wonderful place to be!  :)
